Be gentle with yourself

Making changes is never easy.  If you are trying to incorporate a healthier lifestyle into your already busy life, go easy.  Know that even making small changes is going to make a big difference.  So if doing a full diet overhaul is way too daunting a challenge for you right now, just switching to water as your go to beverage will make a large impact.  Or maybe just try crowding out your daily sweet treat with a fruit or carrot sticks and humus. 

Or if you feel you "messed up" and a ate something you feel you shouldn't have, please, please, please do not beat yourself up about it.  We are only human after all and creating change is a journey.  You're not weak if you ate that piece of chocolate cake!  For God's sake, it's delicious.  Enjoy it and move on.

Remember that small changes can have lasting impacts.
